A clan on FOMO

Absence can be a position.

Markets reward arrival. Arrival becomes habit: a vertical candle, and the feeling that you must stand on it. jomo practices a kind of absence that can still be written down — not ignoring price, but returning the right of entry to the pullback. After a high is left behind, the story grows quiet. We only write in that quiet.

FOMO lays trading out as a social fact. jomo borrows the same table to do the opposite: make holding slow, make missing out a choice. Leaderboards will still shine. That is not where we keep the score of a life.

Buy the dip. Refuse the chase. Hold. Three lines become slogans too easily. For us they are climate: which winds may enter, which noise stays outside.

Wait for the return

Enter only after a high has receded. A price that has already left is no longer the same trade.

Refuse the vertical

Do not lift your head for heat. Twenty-four hours of light is too short to prove a judgment.

Leave the time in

Holding is the default. Leaving needs a reason; staying does too. We read weeks, not nights.

It is clearer to say what this is not.

Not copy trading

No one presses buy for you. Another book is a possibility, not an order.

Not a cabinet of myths

A single hundred-fold does not qualify. We read the last twenty trades, and whether the sentence survives a loss.

Not a room for everyone

Those who need to be hurried will find this slow. The slowness is the point.

Short, so they cannot be escaped.

  1. Thesis

    Before entry: why this is a pullback, how heavy, and what would prove you wrong. A trade without a sentence does not belong.

  2. Pullback

    Buy what has come back, not what is leaving. The quiet of the clan outranks private impulse.

  3. Hold

    Remain by default. Selling is not forbidden; it must be speakable.

  4. Process

    Process over story. Recent record is closer to the truth than distant glory.

Usual misunderstandings

Does refusing the chase mean never selling?
No. We refuse entries written on a vertical. Exits are allowed — if they can be read.
Won’t buying dips catch a falling knife?
Sometimes. Size must be able to be wrong. jomo does not promise the exact bottom, only that we will not pretend precision on a spike.
If this lives on FOMO, why speak of absence?
Visibility is not an obligation to respond. The tool may be loud. The people using it need not be.
